Why Bella Retreats?

Bella Retreats was created as a way to share the beauty of unique retreats and traveling the world with as many people as possible.

Bella Retreats pairs inspired facilitators with stunning locations so that small groups can come together in harmony and connection with themselves, each other and nature.

Because the pace of modern life has become so full, it can be hard to stay centered among the many distractions. Going on yoga retreats gives you the chance to unplug, reset and reconnect with yourself. Starting your day by waking to the sounds of nature and yoga by the beach will refresh your body, mind, and spirit from the daily grind. When you go on a Bella Retreat, not only will you meet new people, experience new sights and sounds but you will return home feeling rejuvenated, inspired and transformed.

The founder and teachers at Bella Retreats believe that our life force energy is too precious and life is too short to be spent in drudgery or obligation. Take your time to enjoy this beautiful world and create some of life’s most memorable moments.

Meet Una Viggiani, Founder

Una Viggiani is an artist, astrologer, yogini, world traveler, mermaid, creative collaborator, and inspired instigator. She earned a degree in Fine Art from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and her Master’s degree in Education at the University of Denver, but ultimately learned the most while traveling the world on a solo journey that lasted two years and took her to 22 countries.

Traveling, for Una, is a way to stay present and enliven the senses. She loves exploring new lands, discovering foreign markets and maneuvering her way through winding streets. Since, navigating the world comes easy for Una, she lives for taking the hard part out of traveling, organizing the details so others can have a relaxing and easeful experience. Throughout her travels, Una has made numerous connections, allowing her to open doors to hidden gems all over the world. She is able to professionally organize the logistics and details of retreat travel while simultaneously creating a fun atmosphere among the group.

“My first ‘out of county’ yoga retreat. Was not sure what to expect, especially since traveling by myself. But the whole event was far beyond my expectations. Tried it all!”

JOHN VALENTINE

This was so much more than an art retreat. The journey into our souls and friendships we made opened our hearts in a profound and life changing way. I am forever grateful for Autumn Skye, for her dedicated teachings and gentle loving heart. I leave feeling refreshed, deeply nourished and saturated with fond memories to carry home.

KARA

Una, your art brought me to a place that I had been forbidden to go my other people’s judgement of what I should be doing. Feeling the paint in between my fingers against the board, watching magic happen right before my eyes was such a powerful sensation that it still brings me to tears thinking about it. It unleashed so much that painting, especially with my hands, strongly calls to me and experiment without anyone’s judgements. I just want to say that you’ve made a MAJOR difference in my world and pray that I may cross paths with you soon again.

CHRISTINE

Una is an amazing organizer, leader and friend. The trip was enlightening, fun, flexible and something will never forget. I would recommend Bella Retreats to anyone open to building new friendships, gaining inner wisdom and creating unforgettable memories!

ALUNA

Una has a true talent for holding space. The retreat was orchestrated beautifully and had such cohesion and bliss tied into deep learning. Wonderful experience.

ASH

Amy Baker
Amy Baker
Amy Baker is a yoga practitioner based in Denver, CO. She went to her mat full of imbalance and disconnection. Through the grace of countless teachers and a dedicated practice, she came to find the aspects of practice that helped her discover what is needed to more skillfully ride the waves of life. With over a decade of diverse practice with Ana Forrest, Dharren Rhodes, Christina Sell, and Gina Caputo and a degree in Exercise Physiology from The University of Massachusetts at Amherst, I classify myself as a yoga mutt.

Her style has always been influenced by thoughtful, direct alignment and sequence with a heavy emphasis on breath. Her classes offer the sweat of vinyasa, the wisdom of anatomically sound sequencing, and the space to look within.

Ellen Kaye
Ellen Kaye
Embarking on a class with Ellen Kaye often begins with a story, infuses the body with dance and ends in song. With an extensive background in movement, music, and theater, Ellen invites her students to courageously practice something bigger than the pose. She believes each moment we navigate on the mat is a reflection of our daily lives. Through precise alignment, an open heart and a sense of play Ellen encourage her students to fulfill their greatest potential. Krishnamacharya and Swami Satyananda Saraswati. Elena Rose Davis
Elena Rose Davis
Elena Rose Davis is a holistic healing artist and Master Sattva Yoga Teacher. Elena began her career in the healing arts in 2005 when at the age of 18 she went to school to become a Massage Therapist. Elena’s background is in the arts, and she originally thought that Massage Therapy would be a nice job to do while pursuing her other aspirations. Little did she know that her career as a bodyworker would lead her to becoming a successful wellness entrepreneur and that her creativity would be channeled into fostering a wellness sanctuary. In 2009 Elena opened Peace of Mind Sacred Wellness in Denver, Colorado. At the time it was called Peace of Mind Massage as the focus of the business was providing bodywork. As the business grew, Elena was led to retire from massaging herself after 8 years providing hands on therapy to tens of thousands of people. She retired to focus on taking care of her ever growing team and evolving business and to also dedicate time and energy to self healing and expanding her spiritual life. In 2017 Elena visited India for the first time which is where she met Himalayan Yogic Master Anand Mehrotra who is responsible for creating Sattva Yoga Academy. Elena found a fountain of wisdom through this teacher and she studied under him for 3 years, attaining her Sattva Yoga Master Training after 500+ hours of education in the Vedantic traditions including Himalayan Kundalini, Kriya Yoga, Mantra, Pranayama, Vedic Meditation, Hatha Vinyasa, Mudra, and Tantric wisdom. She has now dedicated herself to stepping fully into her power as a teacher and healer. Elena spends half of the year traveling and teaching retreats, and when in her home base of Denver she shares and spreads her light with workshops, special events, and private sessions.
