Welcome to Somatic Sanctuary’s Day Retreat, held at a stunning 2 acres in Sedalia, conveniently located between Denver and Castle Rock!

Join us for a day of nourishment and rejuvenation as we embark on a soulful journey in a space designed to offer unique features for your ultimate relaxation.

Our retreat begins with a warm Welcome Circle and Ceremony, where we will come together in a sacred space to set our intentions for the day. Guided by astrology and the wisdom of the stars, we will create a collective energy that will guide us throughout our retreat.

Next, we will indulge in a Guided Yoga Movement and Meditation Session, allowing our bodies to flow and our breath to guide us in a gentle yet invigorating practice. We will connect with our bodies, minds, and spirits, aligning ourselves with the present moment and tuning into our somatic experience.

Awaken your senses, pamper your body, & elevate your soul!

After our session, it’s time for a homemade delicious catered Lunch Break. Our culinary delights will be prepared with love and care, using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients to nourish our bodies and delight our taste buds. We will take our time to savor the flavors and enjoy the company of our fellow retreat participants.

Following lunch, we will have free time to immerse ourselves in the beauty of nature, exploring the Gratitude Spiral Labyrinth walk, the Healing Forest, the Tree Net Village, and indulging in the soothing experience of the Sauna and Cold Plunge. Somatic Sanctuary offers a true sanctuary for relaxation, rejuvenation, and connection with the natural world. Optional massages and healing sessions will also be available during this time.

As the day progresses, we will come together for a powerful Cacao Ceremony. We will sip on the sacred elixir of cacao, opening our hearts and expanding our consciousness, as we connect with ourselves and each other on a deeper level. The cacao will be a nourishing ally on our somatic journey.

Our spirits will soar as we move and groove in an Ecstatic Dance session with the beats of a special DJ guiding us on a rhythmic journey of self-expression and joy. We will let go, dance freely, and allow our bodies to be a vessel for our souls to express their true essence.

Embark on a transformative path of somatic healing and restoration!

To further deepen our healing journey, we will experience a Sound Healing session. The soothing sounds of healing instruments will wash over us, restoring balance and harmony to our bodies, minds, and souls. We will surrender to the healing vibrations and allow them to soothe our nervous systems. We highly recommend and and offer an option to receive body work during the sound healing, a luxury not to be missed.

As the day comes to a close, we will gather in a Closing Circle to reflect on our experiences, share our insights, and express our gratitude for this sacred day of retreat. We will leave with our hearts open, our bodies rejuvenated, and our spirits uplifted, carrying the essence of Somatic Sanctuary with us.

Una Bella

Una is an Artist, Astrologer, Retreat Leader, professional Event Planner, World Traveler and Magical Mermaid who has organized over 100 transformational retreats in 25 countries and helped over 50 retreat leaders plan and lead profitable retreats. With a degree in Fine Art and a Masters in Education, Una ultimately learned the most on a solo backpacking journey that took her to 22 countries and landed her in Costa Rica where she earned her Yoga Teacher Training. After teaching yoga and bringing groups to Costa Rica, started Bella Retreats, a retreat planning company, and developed 5 Steps to 5 Star Retreats, a coaching program that gives entrepreneurs the knowledge, tools, and support needed to plan and launch successful retreats. Una is passionate about helping others experience the world and transform their lives through travel, and she is here to help facilitators integrate retreats into their business model for long-term success.

Nina Born

Nina Born is the perfect guide to lead the captivating cacao ceremonies and soul-nourishing sound healing at the Somatic Sanctuary Retreat. With her innate connection to the mystical realms and a deep appreciation for beauty, Nina creates an enchanting atmosphere where participants can immerse themselves in profound experiences of healing and self-discovery. Her compassionate nature and nurturing presence allow individuals to feel safe and supported as they explore the heart-opening properties of ceremonial-grade cacao and embark on transformative sound journeys. Nina’s expertise, combined with her ability to celebrate authenticity and embrace imperfections, make her an exceptional leader who can facilitate soul embodiment and guide participants towards a deeper connection with their true selves.

DJ Sundragon

DJ Sun Dragon is the perfect person to guide us on the transformative journey at the Somatic Sanctuary retreat. With his immense love for the dance and his profound understanding as both a sound wizard and a dancer, he brings a unique perspective to the ecstatic experience. DJ Sun Dragon recognizes the power of music as an essential expression of life itself, selecting tracks that invoke inspiration, expansion, groove, soothing, peace, joy, and presence, while also infusing a whole lot of fun. His music selection is carefully curated to connect humans with the spirit within, awakening their senses and tuning them into the present moment. Through his music, DJ Sun Dragon spreads positive vibes, uplifting feelings, and inspiring ideas, creating an atmosphere of pure magic and transformation at the retreat.

Location

Our 9,500 SF Retreat Center has a welcome lounge, two large multipurpose rooms, a community kitchen + dining room, shared bathrooms, and 13 private polished retreat rooms each with its own entrance to the outside as well as access to 145 acres of forested landscape located just 45 minutes SW of Denver (1 hour from Denver airport). Surprising and delightful experiences and amenities abound in our natural setting at Everland.

Various art installations on the property support the aims of retreat facilitators, inspiring depth and connection to amplify the experience of guests on retreat during workshops and circles.
