Project Description
Stretch and Soak Your Mind, Body, and Soul
Escape the hustle and bustle of the to-do lists, commitments and daily stress and indulge in a rejuvenating long weekend getaway amidst the scenic mountains. Spend quality time with like-minded friends and treat yourself to the perfect blend of hot springs, yoga, mother nature’s medicine, and delectable food. At this retreat, you’ll have unlimited soaking time in the healing waters of Mt. Princeton, allowing you to unwind and truly relax.
Start your mornings with invigorating yoga asana taught by experienced instructors Amy Baker and Keri Bergeron, and wind down your evenings with gentle asana and pranayama to soothe your nervous system. Savor healthy, thoughtfully sourced, and allergy-friendly meals that will nourish your senses and body.
With ample free time, you can explore the picturesque surroundings or soak and unwind at your own pace. Over four days and three nights, this retreat will engage your body, rejuvenate your spirit, and equip you with the tools to incorporate small yet consistent doses of self-care into your daily routine.
AMY BAKER
With two decades of diverse practice and training Amy considers herself a yoga mutt that likes to laugh a lot and find fun wherever she can. Amy is a 500 E-RYT, a mother of 3 and has certified hundreds of teachers and taught all over the world. With degrees in Exercise Science and a Masters in Clinical Mental Health, she knows the mind-body connection. Her classes offer the sweat of vinyasa, the wisdom of anatomically sound sequencing, lots of jokes and a heavy emphasis on the breath to look within.
KERI BERGERON
Keri is a veteran teacher and physical therapist with 20 years of experience. She holds a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University and is an ERYT 500 and YACEP with Yoga Alliance. Keri initially fell in love with the physical practice of yoga as a natural adjunct to her extensive study of the body. Since then, she has sought Master teachers like Ana Forrest, Darren Rhodes, Christina Sell, and Andrei Ram and Janet Stone. These teachers, along with dear friends and deep inquiry have helped her to access her heart, her inner strength and softness.
Keri remains continually curious about patterns, both physical and mental/emotional, and is passionate about shining a light on these within herself, as well as helping to illuminate them with her clients. She believes that seeing these patterns more clearly can provide each of us with the awareness to move more wisely not only in our bodies, but also in our heads, hearts, communities, and world.
